Triage Nurse Consultation

Ballard Pediatric Clinic offers an after hours, telephone triage consultation service. This service puts you in touch with a pediatric-trained, triage nurse after the clinic is closed.  If you feel you cannot wait for the office to open please call our main number and ask to speak with a triage nurse.  Note:  Our clinic is charged a fee for each call placed to this nurse triage service. Therefore, to offset this expense we charge our families $24.00** per call which is part of this fee. This fee will not be billed to your insurance.

**Effective October 2025 this fee is now $24.00.

Please do not use the after hours consultation service for routine questions

Urgent Care Clinic at Seattle Children’s Hospital

When our clinic is closed, Seattle Children's Hospital provides Urgent Care Clinics that offer a variety of services.

You are able to schedule Urgent Care services on their website including:

• In-person urgent care
• Virtual urgent care
• Orthopedic urgent care
• Psychiatric urgent care
